Have you awakened from your food coma yet? I am finally coming back to life from my tryptophan stupor...just in time for Cyber Monday, but first a little weekend recap! On Thursday we went to my grandparents farm for Thanksgiving. One tradition from my family that I love is that before we say the blessing everyone says what they are thankful for. It puts things in perspective and reminds us what the day is really about. Saturday we went to dinner with some friends at Intermezzo and then to see The New Familiars play at Visulite.
On Saturday the Mr. and I went to a "surprise" birthday for my best friend, Meredith. Her brother thought it would be funny to have a party at McDonald's complete with happy meals. I know what you're thinking...McDonald's and yes you read that right! Ronald McDonald must have been busy because he didn't make an appearance but it was still so much fun and we completed the night with a few rounds of bowling. I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving...
