I am ready for spring. the end. But along with spring comes a transition in my typical beauty routine. I love a fresh, effortless make-up regimen for warmer weather. Nobody likes a melting face when the heat hits. I recently jumped on the BB Cream bandwagon and I love that it works like foundation without the heavy coverage. This Smashbox version is my favorite so far and I always use this Bobbi Brown touch up stick for any imperfections I want to hide. Bronzer is always tricky, to me at least. You don't want to look like you smothered Cheetos on your face so the Bahama Mama is my go to. It gives me some color without looking over done.
I will admit I'm a die hard Nars blush fanatic but this is one of my recent beauty routine additions. It has 3 different cheek/lip shades to build just the right amount of color for the perfect flush. Now on to the eyes. This Too Faced palette is THE best for a neutral eye. The colors are so pretty and stay put all day. Neexxxttt....ever since I received a sample of the Eyeko liner I've been hooked. Thick line, thin line, cat eye...it does it all. And no make-up routine is complete without the perfect mascara. My favorite was recently discontinued so I started using Benefit's They're Real and like it so far. Any other mascara recommendations? I used one that was a primer + mascara duo but now I can't find it anywhere. Le sigh.
The frigid winter weather really does a number on my lips. I keep this mini vaseline in my purse and slather it on constantly but this lip scrub is another favorite. It really gets rid of all the dry skin and makes your lips smooth. And now that your lips are silky & smooth you need to add some color. I am trying to branch out into the lipstick world. I've always been a neutral lip gloss kind of girl but I want to try something new. What are you favorite lipstick colors/brands? Help a sister out.
Any other beauty must haves I should know about? I really want to try this daily moisture stick and these coconut & vanilla lotion wipes to help combat my dry winter skin! What's your beauty routine?

Such a cute post! I need to bookmark this! I never wear lipstick so it's hard for me to say..I have bought some lip stains from Revlon that I really like. I am just such a wuss about lip color.

DeleteDom, great post! I love hearing what beauty finds my friends can't live without, it inspires me to branch out of my makeup routine and try something new! I absolutely LOVE dior extase mascara, and I have to admit I am super picky about mascara. I have one at the office and one at home (and probably a couple floating around my purse and car). It's buildable and def brings the drama. A few other faves are the dior airflash foundation, chanel for full coverage concealer, and YSL makes an awesome lipstain with vibrant colors that last -- even when you layer intense moisture. And speaking of moisture, aquaphor is my go to for lips and it doubles as a great eye makeup remover post shower. Keep the fab posts coming! xo, Chrissy
