What to Wear to an Interview...

Say what, no weekend recap? Gah, I know you must be so heart broken. No? Well you would be heart broken and bored to tears if I shared my weekend with you because it consisted of nothing but trying to get over the flu and of course watching the half-time show where my girl Beyonce rocked it! No surprise there.

But on to more important things. A sweet friend asked me to help her with a styling dilemma. I am sure a lot of other people have this questions so I thought I would share. She has an interview this week and needed help with what to wear. A common dilemma, right? But I kindly obliged...shopping for someone else?! Le duh. So here are a few of the outfit inspirations that I came up with. She loves color and didn't want to wear a blah de blah suit that is so boring. Thank goodness. Your wish is my command. Bring on the color!

Do you have a go-to interview outfit? Do you like wearing color or more subdued hues? So what do you think of this Q & A type thing? It could be a series...

  1. I think a printed skirt or pants are perfectly appropriate but show the right amount of personality too. X

  4. I think that these outfits would really only work in a creative environment. I'd be laughed out of the room in my industry...

    1. Definitely a good point! It all depends on what industry you are interviewing for as to what would be appropriate!!

  5. I love that you've brought so much color into these interview looks! I always look so boring at interviews - black, grey, white ... this is way better!
