So this year the Mr. and I vowed to stay home for Christmas...every year we are traveling all over creation between North Carolina and Florida visiting family that we never even decorate our own house. We picked out our first Christmas tree together (in 6 years) and finally were able to use all of our beautiful Christmas decorations that have been waiting in storage! My mom, brother and his family came to Florida to spend Christmas with us and it was so wonderful to have them here! We hosted a Christmas Eve dinner for 30 of our family members and I had so much fun creating festive table scapes and cooking a delicious dinner for everyone! The menu consisted of a brown sugar glazed ham, a creole fried turkey (made by the Mr.), brown rice & mushrooms, scalloped potatoes with Gruyere, green bean casserole and for desert we had peppermint semifreddo and pecan pies.
Harper helping us decorate
It looks like Santa definitely came to visit...
Harper and CoCo having a blast!
Either Harper is really depressed that her dog friend left or she's just exhausted and catching up on her zzzzz's...because she's been moping around all week since CoCo left her!
